Imagined in Luton. Built for our community.FAMILIAR NEEDS. SIMPLER STEPS.
A letter that makes sense. An appointment in your calendar. Knowing where to begin. That’s the kind of help I want to make possible.

Voice playback uses voices available on your device. Sylheti speech and live AI conversations are planned, and are not available in this demo.
A SMALL TOOL YOU CAN USE TODAY
Put an appointment in your calendar, so the details are there when you need them.
The details stay in this page while it’s open. Nothing you type into this planner is sent to us.
Download the calendar file, then open it in your calendar app. This doesn’t book an appointment. Set a reminder in your calendar if you want an alert.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE IDEA
I believe feeling at home in a language should also mean feeling at home with technology.
I’m based in Luton and work in electrical engineering and data centres. Amar Shohayok brings together my interest in technology and my wish to make it more useful for our community.
My starting point is simple: help older Bangla and Sylheti speakers in the UK navigate everyday digital tasks with more confidence and independence.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Not yet. This is the first version of my project website. You can explore guided examples, read them aloud using supported device voices, use the calendar planner and visit official websites. Live AI and voice input will need a later development phase.
The website and examples are available in English and Bangla. Use the language switch at the top. Bangla audio depends on the voices on your device. Sylheti voice support is a goal for a future version and needs testing with native speakers.
This page has no account, tracking scripts or document uploads. Appointment details stay in page memory until you leave or reload, unless you download them. Downloaded files are yours to manage. Hosting may process standard technical logs, and official websites have their own privacy policies. Read-aloud uses your browser’s speech service; depending on your device, it may use an online voice. The demo sends no text to an AI service.
No. The planner creates a calendar file from details you enter. It cannot access your NHS account, book appointments, submit official forms or send automatic reminders. Always check dates and important information against the original source.
